In 2019, when Caroline Ras heard the goal of the professional fraternity Lambda Kappa Sigma was to elevate women in pharmacy, “something just clicked,” she said. She knew she wanted to start a chapter at ACPHS.

As a way to enhance the start of their semester experiences, pharmacy students in their professional years had more orientation opportunities in Fall 2024. Those entering their first year of professional training (P1), whether they had been at ACPHS before or not, had extended opportunities for orientation activities during the week before classes started

ACPHS’ annual faculty/staff retreat on Aug. 14 focused on adapting to change, with a keynote presentation by Dr. Barbara Trautlein of Change Catalysts. Following a pre-retreat assessment, faculty and staff explored change styles rooted in head, hands or heart – and what their own style meant for their contributions to changes occurring on campus
